FAIRCHAIN FINAL EVENT – Save the date & join us!

The European FAIRCHAIN project is coming to an end. The final event will take place on November 14 in Bruges, Belgium, showcasing all the scientific advancements and outcomes.

We are happy to announce the FAIRCHAIN final event which will take place on November 14th, at the Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre (Belgium).

Our program will highlight the technological, organizational, and social innovations developed within FAIRCHAIN, offering solutions to address key challenges and issues. These innovations aim to strengthen the role of small and mid-sized actors in current food systems, meet the demand for sustainability transformation, and support the transition to competitive intermediate food value chains.

The event consists of two parts.

  • A PLENARY SESSION focusing on the key lessons learned and achievements from the six case-studies carried out during the project. This will cover co-creation processes, sustainability assessments, and policy recommendations for establishing intermediate food value chains.

This session will be held in the framework of the 2024 EFFoST conference (mandatory paying registration here). The session will be chaired by the project coordinator Geneviève Gésan-Guiziou (INRAE) and moderated by Katherine Flynn (ISEKI-Food Association).
