Fanny Guyomarc'h wins award!

Fanny Guyomarc'h rewarded for her work on the sustainability of the French dairy industry

This year, the Association pour les Recherches sur l'Économie Agroalimentaire (AREA) honoured Fanny Guyomarc'h, a research engineer at STLO, for her professional thesis on the sustainability of the dairy industry in France. The thesis was written at the end of her master's year at the École des Métiers de l'Environnement UniLaSalle, and proposes ways of thinking about how to involve farms and dairies in an agro-ecological transition.

Each year, the Association pour les Recherches sur l'Économie Agroalimentaire (AREA), chaired by Ghislain de Montgolfier, awards a Master's thesis prize and a dissertation prize to two winners who have defended their thesis in the previous two years. The 2024 jury, chaired by Jean-Paul Bachy, awarded the prize to Fanny Guyomarc'h for her dissertation entitled ‘What trajectories for more sustainable French dairy production?  Fanny's dissertation is available in full on HAL (in french, abstract in english).

Congratulations Fanny!
