Rencontres Biologie-Physique du Grand Ouest

Rencontres Biologie-Physique du Grand Ouest : 11ème édition

It is with great pleasure that the members of the scientific and organising committee announce the 11th edition of the Rencontres Biologie-Physique du Grand Ouest (RBPGO-11). This year, these convivial meetings will take place from 24 to 26 June, at the Paimpont Biology Station of the University of Rennes (SBP), located in the heart of the Brocéliande forest.

After Rennes (2003, 2011 & 2024), Roscoff (2005), Nantes (2007 & 2017), Vannes (2009 & 2019), Le Mans (2014) and Brest (2022), the 11th edition of the RBPGO meetings will take place at the Paimpont Biology Station of the University of Rennes (SBP) from 24 to 26 June 2026.

These meetings bring together several teams from research units in western France that are developing activities at the interface between biology and physics and belong to universities, INRAE, CNRS and INSERM. Their aim is to strengthen and open up collaborations, as well as to train and attract young researchers. The meetings are organised by a scientific and organisational committee made up of members from the various research units.

These meetings represent a unique opportunity for our young scientists to exchange ideas on issues at the interface between biology and physics. We would be delighted if you and the members of your laboratory could join us at this biennial event in western France.

We invite you to register now at https://rbpgo11.journees.inrae.fr/ and submit your abstracts for oral and/or poster presentations. On the website, you will find information about the thematic sessions and associated speakers, as well as how to get to the resort and accommodation options on site or nearby.

We look forward to seeing you (again) in June!
