STLO attends the 9th ICFD Congress in Poland!

The Infogest network held its 9th International Congress on Food Digestion (ICFD) at Gdańsk University of Technology, chaired by Adam Macierzanka. During this information-packed congress, the STLO, particularly the BN team, was well represented and had the opportunity to present its work through 9 oral presentations and 8 posters. The congress covered topics relating to food digestion, ranging from the oral process to the microbiota, whilst presenting advances in in vitro models. The conference attracted over 300 attendees, marking the second-highest attendance since the conference’s inception! Many European countries were represented, as well as countries further afield such as the United States, Brazil and New Zealand.
